Cardiac electrophysiology (EP) is one of the major fields of clinical and basic cardiovascular medicine. Diagnosis of cardiac arrhythmia, catheter ablation, and device therapy such as pacemaker and ICD are the representative parts of clinical EP. EP is one of the most important fields in medicine due to its great advancement in the therapetic modalities as well as growing in-depth knowledge about the mechanisms of cardiac arrhythmia (heart rhythm disorder).
